Bots

Create bot

Creates a bot — a named identity that parameterizes the agent Crevio runs for you: its persona, the skills it may load, and the toolsets it may call. handle is derived from name when omitted, and is unique within the account. skill_slugs and toolsets are tri-state: null means every skill / every toolset, [] means none, and a list restricts the bot to exactly those. Omitting a field leaves it unchanged.

Request

  • Base URL: https://api.crevio.co/v1
  • URL: https://api.crevio.co/v1/bots
  • Auth: API key in header Authorization

Headers

Idempotency-Keystring

Makes this write safe to retry: a repeat with the same key replays the first response instead of creating a second resource. Scoped to the account, remembered for 24 hours; reusing a key with a different payload is an error.

Request body

namestring
handlestring
rolestring nullable
personastring nullable
positioninteger
skill_slugsstring[] nullable

Restrict the bot to these skills. null means every skill; [] means none. Omit to leave unchanged.

toolsetsstring[] nullable

Restrict the bot to these toolsets (crevio_platform, crevio_onboarding, crevio_docs, crevio_api, integrations). null means every toolset; [] means none. Omit to leave unchanged.

model_tier'fast' | 'balanced' | 'quality' | 'null' nullable

Which model tier the bot runs on: fast (cheapest, for checks and short reviews), balanced, or quality. null uses the account default. Omit to leave unchanged.
