POST /feedback_item/{feedbackItemId}/promote

Promote a feedback item into a new work item created under the given parent (themes→epic, epics→story/bug/etc, leaf items→sub-task) and link them atomically.

parentItemIdstring required

ID of the existing work item to create the promoted item under.

promotedItemTypestring

Optional type for the new item when the parent is an epic (ignored for other parents — a theme yields an epic, a leaf item yields a sub-task). One of: story, bug, task, requirement (case-insensitive). Defaults to story. Typed as string (not a literal union) so an invalid value yields a single clean 422 instead of tsoa's noisy 4-way union mismatch.

The feedback item is promoted to a new work item

ID of the newly created work item linked to the feedback item.

shortIdstring

ShortId of the new work item (e.g. CRK-1234).

createdItemTypestring

Type of the new work item, derived from the parent (theme→epic, epic→story/ bug/task/requirement, leaf→sub-task). Lets the caller confirm what was made.

webUrlstring

Direct link to the new work item in the Craft.io app.
