Subscribe to case-activity alerts

Starts monitoring a case for the given person; sends email (and optional SMS) when the case has new activity. With requireConfirmation=true the signup is created PENDING and only a confirmation email is sent — no monitoring begins, and no attorney lead is created, until the emailed link is confirmed via /api/subscribe/confirm.

requireConfirmationboolean

Double opt-in. Required for any caller that cannot prove the submitter owns the email address (e.g. an AI assistant). Creates the row inactive with a single-use confirmation token, sends one confirmation email, and skips attorney lead sharing. Repeat calls while a confirmation is outstanding send nothing.
