Read a bounded page of indexed conversation events

Authorizes the session before selecting a checkpoint. Returns the latest conversation events in chronological order, with an older_cursor for earlier context. Each cursor fixes the checkpoint and index identity. Tools are opt in; reasoning is excluded. Indexed message truncation is disclosed and omitted text cannot be recovered through this API.
