Look up one Danish company in cvrapi.dk's version 6 format.

A drop-in replacement for https://cvrapi.dk/api: change the base URL to https://api.companydata.dk/cvrapi/api and keep your parameters.

Parameters (query string, or form fields on POST):

  • vat: CVR number. produ: P-number (answers with the production unit in the company shape). phone: phone number. name: best match for a company name, active companies first. search: a CVR number, P-number or name. One is used, in that order.
  • country: dk (the default; only Danish companies are served).
  • format: json (default) or xml. callback: JSONP function name.
  • token: a companydata.dk API key (sk_...), also accepted as Authorization: Bearer.

Access: everyone gets 50 lookups a day (per IP without a key, per account with one). A companydata.dk API key adds its monthly API quota on top: a free account 1,000 a month, Pro 300,000.

Errors keep cvrapi.dk's shape, e.g. HTTP 404 {"error":"NOT_FOUND","t":0,"version":6}. Codes: NOT_FOUND, QUOTA_EXCEEDED (429), INVALID_VAT, NO_SEARCH, UNSUPPORTED_COUNTRY (400), INVALID_TOKEN (401).
