Update module properties

Updates specific properties of an installed module. This endpoint allows changing settings such as auto-upgrade preferences or automatic installation of Python requirements without reinstalling the module. Changes are applied to the module configuration immediately.

Key Parameters:

  • id: The ID of the instance containing the module
  • moduleId: The ID of the module to update
  • auto_upgrade: Boolean flag to enable/disable automatic upgrades for this module
  • autoRequirements: Boolean flag to enable/disable automatic installation of Python requirements (requirements.txt) when the module is installed or updated. Requires the instance to be configured with an Odoo virtualenv; otherwise the flag is stored but has no effect.

autoRequirementsboolean

Enable or disable automatic installation of Python requirements (requirements.txt) on module install/update. When enabled, the API runs pip install -r requirements.txt inside the instance's Odoo virtualenv after fetching the module sources. Has no effect if the instance does not have an Odoo virtualenv configured.
