The publisher chooses one delivery policy (ordered, maxRetransmits, and maxPacketLifeTime) for each named channel. Every subscriber must mirror that policy in its request, and each endpoint must configure its browser DataChannel accordingly. The application supplies these settings. Use separate named channels for different policies, including within one session or application. Asymmetric reliability is outside the supported contract. Channel IDs are endpoint-specific; waitForAck and canReply are subscription-specific.
