View Records

Creates a view record.

The request body is a flat JSON object of field name/value pairs. Only include editable fields — in multi-table views, only fields from the primary table are editable (check Editable=true in the view's field definitions). Do not include auto-generated fields (Autonumber, Timestamp, Random ID, GUID, Prefixed Autonumber, Formula, or PK_ID).

  • If echo is true, the inserted record is returned in the response.
  • If echo is false (default), the PK_ID of the inserted record is returned.
