Erase a contact together with everything attached to them: their inbox conversations (with messages and attachments) and their deals all go too. This is the "right to be forgotten" path. The response reports how many conversations and deals were removed.

CRITICAL: This is far wider than it sounds. It is not "remove a row from my contact list", it wipes the person's whole history from the account. Everything is hidden rather than erased, so support can still recover it, but nothing in the app or the API can. Always tell the user what will go and get explicit confirmation first. To take someone off a list without destroying the history, use contacts.update with status inactive instead.
