NFL depth charts, current or as at a past instant

Interval-shaped depth chart - one row per player per position per contiguous stretch of state. Defaults to the open intervals; pass as_of to read the chart as it stood at that instant. An open interval is one that has not been closed, which is not the same as "today's chart" - no 2026 charts have been published yet, so the open intervals are currently the final 2025 chart. meta.season_covered names the season the rows actually describe and meta.data_as_of their age. Depth charts are available from 2025 only, so this covers one season, not the six carried by the other NFL endpoints.

Query parameters

teamstring
positionstring

position abbreviation (e.g. QB, WR)

seasoninteger

Season LABEL, not a calendar year: the year a season STARTS in. 2025 means the 2025-26 campaign for leagues that cross the new year (EPL, NBA, NHL) and the 2025 season for those that do not (MLB, MLS, WNBA). Filtering resolves each league's own start month, so a season never spans two calendar years' worth of rows.

player_idstring
as_ofstring date-time

RFC3339 instant; omit for the current chart

limitinteger
offsetinteger
