List conversations
Find conversations. Pass at most ONE primary filter — participant, handle, name, group, or unread; each also accepts activeSince/activeBefore, limit, and cursor. Combining primaries returns 400.

Query parameters
Maximum number of items to return (1–100).
Opaque pagination cursor from a previous response.
Phone number or email that appears in the conversation — returns every thread (1:1 AND group) that includes this contact. Loosely formatted numbers are normalized to E.164 (e.g. "(502) 544-2686" → "+15025442686"). The recommended way to find conversations with a given number.
Case-insensitive substring of the contact or group display name (e.g. "bax" matches "Baxter Parrot"). Scans your most recent conversations; response pagination.truncated is true if the scan window may hide older matches.
Exact recipient handle (E.164 phone or email, normalized) — returns only the 1:1 conversation with that contact. Prefer participant unless you specifically want the 1:1 thread.
true: group chats only. false: 1:1 conversations only.
Only conversations with unread messages.
Only conversations active at or after this ISO-8601 timestamp.
Only conversations last active before this ISO-8601 timestamp.
