Search Retraction Watch
Check whether published papers were retracted, corrected, given an expression of concern or reinstated, in the Retraction Watch Database (about 73,000 notices, made open by Crossref, copied each working day). Give the DOI or PubMed ID of each paper (up to 25 in one call: check every paper an answer will rely on), or a title when neither is known. Each identifier gets a status (RETRACTED, EXPRESSION OF CONCERN, CORRECTED, REINSTATED, or no notice) with the notice's date, DOI and Retraction Watch's reasons. Never cite a retracted paper as support without saying it was retracted. No notice is not proof the paper stands: corrections and concerns are less complete than retractions.
