Health Canada NOC database and Patent Register

Search Health Canada NOC database and Patent Register

Search Health Canada's Notice of Compliance (NOC) database and Patent Register, from Assyro's copies of Health Canada's open data (Open Government Licence - Canada): notices-of-compliance (every NOC since 1994: NOC number and date, manufacturer, submission type NDS/SNDS/ANDS/SANDS and class such as New Active Substance or Priority, product type, NOC with conditions, suspended or not, brands, DINs, ingredients and strengths, forms, routes, the Canadian reference product of a generic, veterinary species), patent-register (every patent listed against a drug under the PM(NOC) Regulations: patent number, category, filing, grant and expiry dates, the listing company, the drug by DIN, brand, ingredient and strength, the submissions it was listed on, and its removal from the register when removed). Omit register to search both. Find by words, DIN, brand, ingredient, company, NOC or patent number, submission type, NOC date or patent expiry date. Each record cites its own register, identifier and Health Canada page. A register that is not loaded is reported as not searched: never read that as "no NOC" or "no patent". A missing NOC is not proof a drug is unauthorized (search_health_canada_drugs holds market status); a drug with no listed patent may still be patented; data protection (the Register of Innovative Drugs) is not held. Call read_health_canada_noc_patent for the whole record (a NOC read lists the patents listed against its DINs).
