EMA

Search EMA

Search the European Medicines Agency's published data files, as of Assyro's last sync of them (EMA regenerates them twice a day). Collections: medicines (centrally authorised human and veterinary medicines: status, INN, active substance, therapeutic area, ATC, marketing authorisation holder, authorisation dates, orphan/biosimilar/generic/conditional flags, therapeutic indication), epar-documents (EPAR documents: overviews, product information, assessment reports, RMP summaries), guidelines (EMA scientific and regulatory-procedural guideline documents, including ICH and draft guidelines under consultation), guidance-pages (EMA guidance and information web pages, including the scientific-guideline pages), orphan-designations, pips (paediatric investigation plans), psusas (PSUR single assessments), shortages, and dhpcs (direct healthcare professional communications). Returns up to 10 records with an EMA page link. Document records (EPAR documents, guidelines) carry the title, type, reference number, dates and PDF link, not the PDF text; guidance pages carry their title and summary. Covers the EU centralised procedure only: it is not national (member-state) authorisation data and not FDA data. Call read_ema_record for all facts of a record before relying on it.
