Kurdish Calendar (Newroz Era) (庫爾德曆)

THE KURDISH CALENDAR — the year of Newroz: the Solar Hijri calendar of the Iranian world in Kurdish dress, its months named for what the land does (Xakelêwe the thawing earth, Gulan the flowers, Xermanan the threshing floors, Befranbar the gathering snow, Reşeme the black month), the year counted in the ERA OF THE MEDES — Newroz 2026 opened year 2726 — formally used alongside the Gregorian and Hijri in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. RIDES THE VERIFIED PERSIAN MACHINERY: month and day are Solar Hijri month and day (same 6×31+5×30+29/30 shape, same TRUE-EQUINOX new year), year = SH + 1321 — with 1 Xakelêwe cross-locked to Nowruz to the day at load. THE ERA'S OWN SEAM, ASSERTED NOT REPAIRED: the count is universally said to commemorate the fall of Nineveh to the Medes (612 BC), but the arithmetic every published year number follows (Gregorian + 700) places year 1 at 700 BC — EIGHTY-EIGHT YEARS before the event it commemorates; both facts served, the mismatch a load law. Southern Kurdistan's Gregorian-frame variant (Eylûl months under the same era) disclosed, never blended. OPENS THE CATALOGUE'S 38TH TRADITION. Pure compute, no LLM.
