Dangsaju (12 Stars) (당사주)
당사주 (Dangsaju / 唐四柱) — the uniquely Korean 'Tang Four Pillars' folk method, distinct from saju (Korean BaZi). It reads a life in four stages by placing the 십이성 (12 stars) on the four birth pillars: 초년(early)/중년(middle)/장년(prime)/말년(late) life. The 12 stars sit on a fixed 12-branch ring (天貴 at 子 … 天壽 at 亥); the year branch gives the early-life star directly, then three inclusive forward walks — stepping by the lunar month-number, the lunar day-number, and the hour-branch — give the middle/prime/late stars. Uses the LUNAR calendar (음력) with the 띠 (설날) year boundary (not 立春), branches only (the heavenly stems are ignored). Deterministic, gold-locked to two published worked charts (天貴/天刃/天驛/天福 and 天厄/天刃/天孤/天權). A symbolic Korean folk tradition for reflection — not a validated predictor.
