Karaite Calendar (The Observed Reckoning) (卡拉派曆法)

THE KARAITE CALENDAR — the observed reckoning: the stream of Judaism that accepts scripture alone rejects the precalculated calendar entirely — the MONTH begins when the new crescent is SEEN from the Land of Israel, and the YEAR turns only when the barley in Israel is found AVIV, fit for the Omer: the two observations Hillel II’s arithmetic replaced sixteen centuries ago. THE LO-ADU CONTRAST proven in-repo: across a full century the verified Hebrew engine’s Rosh Hashanah NEVER falls on Sunday, Wednesday or Friday — לא אד״ו ראש, the fingerprint of the dechiyot the Karaites reject — while the sighted crescent knows no forbidden weekdays: one invariant present, one impossible, and that gap IS calculation versus observation. THE DRIFT LAW derived from the molad engine’s own constant: the calculated mean year (365.2468 days) outruns the tropical year by a day every ~216 years — barley cannot drift. The 2023 convergence cell witnessed and proven (Karaite Passover 6 April 2023 = the engine’s own 15 Nisan 5783). ANY request for a computed Karaite date is REFUSED BY NAME — the calendar exists only after the observations are made: refusal-as-design, the Qumran and Samaritan discipline. A forty-fourth tradition opens. Pure compute and served record, no LLM.
