Assyrian Calendar (Kha b-Nisan) (亞述曆)

THE MODERN ASSYRIAN CALENDAR — the civil year of the Assyrian people: the Aramaic month roll their ancestors gave the whole Near East (Nisan, Iyar, Khziran, Tammuz, Tabbakh, Ilul, the two Tishrins, the two Kanuns, Shbat, Adar — the very names Hebrew and Arabic borrowed) laid over the Gregorian frame, the year opening with KHA B-NISAN on 1 APRIL, when AKITU — the twelve-day spring rite of Mesopotamia, one of the oldest continuously celebrated festivals on earth — fills the streets of Nohadra (Duhok) and the diaspora. 1 April 2026 opened year 6776, asserted from the community's and ISAC's own record. THE ERA IS MODERN AND THE ENGINE SAYS EXACTLY HOW MODERN: the 4750 BC epoch was fixed in 1955 by Jean Alkhas in the nationalist magazine Gilgamesh (after Nimrod Simono's 1952 Akitu article), resting on a claimed tablet recording 'the calming of the great flood' — a FOUNDING LEGEND of the national movement, not archaeology, served as such; the ancient rite followed the equinox, the modern movement fixed 1 April, and the fixed date is what is served. Year = Gregorian + 4750 from April, +4749 before it — boundary law asserted. Mesopotamian becomes three systems. Pure compute, no LLM.
