Role Bindings

List role bindings

Changed on

List role bindings for the authenticated user's account, filtered by resource type. Results are paginated; use limit and cursor for subsequent pages.

The resource_type query parameter is required and must be one of SPACE or PROJECT. Results include only bindings for spaces where the caller has the ROLE_BINDING_READ permission. If the caller has no authorized spaces, the response contains an empty list. Use user_id to narrow to a specific user — including a service key's bot user, whose ID is returned as bot_user.id from POST /v2/api-keys or GET /v2/api-keys.

Authorization Results are limited to bindings on spaces where the caller has ROLE_BINDING_READ. If the caller has no authorized spaces, this endpoint returns 200 with an empty list rather than 403.

Returns 404 if user_id is supplied and does not correspond to a user in the account.

Query parameters

limitinteger

Maximum items to return. Defaults to 50 if omitted; maximum is 100.

cursorstring

Opaque pagination cursor returned from a previous response (pagination.next_cursor). Treat it as an unreadable token; do not attempt to parse or construct it.

user_idstring

A universally unique identifier (base64-encoded opaque string).

Example:RW50aXR5OjEyMzQ1

Filter role bindings by user. When provided, only bindings assigned to this user are returned. Must be a valid global user ID.

For a service key, pass its bot user's ID (bot_user.id from POST /v2/api-keys or GET /v2/api-keys) to list that key's bindings.

resource_type'SPACE' | 'PROJECT' required

Resource type for the binding. Only SPACE and PROJECT are supported for single-binding CRUD. resource_id must encode the same resource type.

Filter role bindings by resource type.

  • SPACE — Return only space-level bindings.
  • PROJECT — Return only project-level bindings.
