Source: Language code data from the datasets/language-codes project (github.com/datasets), based on ISO 639 lists published by the Library of Congress (ODC-PDDL-1.0).

Fields returned:

  • alpha2 (str) — ISO 639-1 two-letter language code
  • english (str) — English name of the language
