A treatment of the speaker's picture for a span: black and white, blur, dim, tint, saturation / contrast / brightness, vignette

Effects from the library — GET /v1/effects: [{ id, params, start + duration | at | during }]. Each one is applied by its pipeline stage (never by array order) and renders in this same call

Clips placed INTO the video in the same render — b-roll, a stock clip, an excerpt of a video you may use — each from its own in-point (from), at a time or on words: cut replaces the picture (and with audio: "keep" the sound), overlay lays it full frame over the video, pip in a box. Unlike overlays an insert brings its sound and starts where you say inside the clip

Motion-graphic cards: stat (a big value), counter (counts from → to, clock, progress bar), views (thumbnail + changing view count), wall (a wall of video stills), chart (a line drawing up), money (symbols raining over the speaker), title, banner, questions — GET /v1/studio/graphic-kinds

B-roll images / clips over the video

A sound effect on every jump cut the engine makes (the joins after remove_silence / keep / trim); each one is reported in elements (kind sound, ids cut1…). Never in the first 100 ms

How the kept spans are joined (a crossfade or a dip to black at every jump cut). Omit for plain cuts
