What the agent reported. ONLINE (online:true) it is the live registration: hostname and localIps (the machine's own name and local addresses — how you tell WHICH physical box this is when several are saved under similar aliases; localIps is a label, not a route, and its absence means the agent did not report any, never that the machine has no network), platform, arch, agentVersion, optionally installedVersion (the build on the machine's DISK, included ONLY when it differs from agentVersion — an update was installed but the app was never restarted, so the old process still serves this relay and agentVersion is what executes your commands; its absence is the healthy case and means nothing is wrong, and while it is set the machine is neither offline nor broken — quitting and reopening the AI Commander app on it, or rebooting, is what closes the gap), connectedAt, screenShare (whether a screenshot is possible right now: enabled is the owner's tray toggle, and osPermission is macOS's separate Screen Recording grant — 'granted'/'denied'/'not-determined'/'restricted'/'unknown', omitted entirely by agents older than 1.0.50, where the absence means 'this agent cannot tell', never 'denied'. Both must be affirmative on macOS; the tray toggle alone leaves captures blank) and, on machines with an NVIDIA card, gpus — an array of GpuDevice objects giving model, total/used VRAM and utilization, i.e. how you confirm a box is a suitable target for a compute job and which gpu_index to reserve. Absent gpus means no NVIDIA card or no driver. It may also carry elevatedExec, present and true only when the machine can run an elevated: true command right now — its agent has a privileged helper installed, registered and answering; it is never sent as false, so its absence means 'not capable, or not reported', never a denial you can quote. When the agent could say WHY it is not capable, elevatedUnavailableReason accompanies that absence with one of platform_unsupported (Linux — there is no privileged helper there by design, so stop passing elevated rather than installing anything), not_installed (the helper's files are not on the machine — reinstall), not_registered (the files are there but no SYSTEM scheduled task / LaunchDaemon was ever registered, so a healthy-looking install simply has no helper — reinstalling registers it), endpoint_unreachable (the files are installed but nothing answered the helper's local endpoint, and whether the OS was ever told to run it is NOT established — the agent reports this reason both for a registered helper that is not running and for one whose registration it could not check; a reboot is the cheapest thing to try, and the machine's own diagnostics say which precondition actually failed), protocol_mismatch (it answered speaking an IPC protocol version this agent will not speak — half of a paired upgrade landed) or endpoint_conflict (two endpoints answered with different identities, so the agent refuses all of them). Its absence means the agent did not say — do not report a cause you were not given. Both fields are per-connection and diagnostic only: neither grants anything, and elevated work is refused regardless unless the live agent advertises the capability. Neither carries paths, ports or signer subjects — for those, the machine's own diagnostics (desktop tray → 'Run Diagnostics…', or aicommander-agent doctor on a headless install) print them where the user is standing. OFFLINE (online:false) this is a REDUCED snapshot of the last known reading: only hostname, localIps, platform, arch, agentVersion, gpus and lastSeenAt (each omitted if unknown) plus stale:true, which marks the whole object as historical. connectedAt, screenShare, elevatedExec and elevatedUnavailableReason are deliberately NOT carried, because they would describe a connection that no longer exists and promise a screenshot, or an elevated command, no offline machine can take — do not treat their absence as 'no screen sharing' or 'cannot run elevated', and re-check once the machine is online. agentInfo is null for a machine that has never registered.
