Reconcile an uncertain invite registration

Read-only status check for a lost, interrupted, or malformed invite-registration response. It never returns or rotates an API key, does not prove the caller's exact registration payload won, and does not make invite registration idempotent. An unresolved result is not proof that retrying is safe.
