Domains

Request domain deletion

Submits a deletion request for one or more domains for the authenticated client. Domains are not deleted.

Deletion Rules

  • Domains that are not pending (typically active) are included in the request
  • The Aerosend team handles those domains
  • Does not change domain status or free slots
  • To delete pending domains with no active mailboxes, use DELETE /api/v1/domains

Behavior

  • Validates that each name belongs to the authenticated client
  • Returns which names were submitted and which were not found on the account
