Get Current User

Get current authenticated user information.

2026-05-27 — Delegates to services.current_user_serializer so this endpoint, GET /api/me, and GET /api/users/profile all return the same canonical shape. Previously this endpoint returned a thin auth profile that omitted is_verified_adult, age_assurance_status, r_content_opt_in, and restricted_pin_enabled — fields that the VibePickerDrawer gate logic depends on. The thin shape was also the one cached by authCache.js, which spread the contract drift across the app. See services/current_user_serializer.py.
