Reveal a card PIN

Returns an encrypted PIN block that contains the PIN of a specified card. You can use the decrypted data to reveal the PIN in your user interface.

To make this request, your API credential must have the following role:

  • Bank Issuing PIN Reveal Webservice role

Request body

encryptedKeystring required

The symmetric session key that you encrypted with the public key that you received from Adyen.

paymentInstrumentIdstring required

The unique identifier of the payment instrument, which is the card for which you are managing the PIN.

Response

OK - the request has succeeded.

encryptedPinBlockstring required

The encrypted PIN block.

tokenstring required

The 16-digit token that you need to extract the encryptedPinBlock.
