# Rebuild From Source

`POST /admin/rebuild-from-source`

## Request

Re-derive the working list from `data/source/sec_universe.json`.

Use this to:
  - Undo recent runtime deletions (SPACs/shells/bad-CIKs pruned by the
    EDGAR cycle-restart block) — every stock comes back with zeroed
    counters and gets re-attempted on the next cycle.
  - Pick up a fresh SEC universe just-committed via
    `scripts/refresh_sec_universe.py`.

Equivalent to running `scripts/rebuild_working_list.py` + reloading
the background service — but in-process and instant, no redeploy.

Note: a `flyctl deploy` also resets the working list to the bundled
version, so this endpoint is purely a convenience for skipping the
deploy cycle.
