# Create extraction requests

`POST /extraction`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://us.app.zuva.ai/api/v2`
- URL: `https://us.app.zuva.ai/api/v2/extraction`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new request for extraction of the specified fields from each of the specified files, returning
one request for each file.

A maximum of 100 field IDs and 100 file IDs can be included in each request.

- CreateExtractionRequestsBody
  - `field_ids` string[], required
  - `file_ids` string[], required

## Response `202`

See response body for status of each request.

- ExtractionRequestsAccepted
  - `file_ids` ExtractionCreatedResponse[], required
    - `file_id` string, required
    - `field_ids` string[], required
    - `request_id` string, required
    - `status` 'queued' | 'processing' | 'complete' | 'failed', required

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request, missing/invalid `file_ids` or `field_ids` attribute.
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `500`: Internal Server Error

## Changes

  - removed the optional property `file_ids/items/error` from the response with the `202` status
  - the response property `file_ids/items/field_ids` became required for the status `202`
