# Change the user's password

`POST /zephr/users/change-password`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://demo-site`
- URL: `https://demo-site/zephr/users/change-password`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `blaize_session`
  - API key in query parameter `jwt`
  - API key in header `x-blaize-jwt`
  - API key in header `x-zephr-jwt`
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `blaize_jwt`

This endpoint starts the process of changing a user's password.  An active user session is required for this endpoint. This process ends with an OTP (One-time password) being sent to the user's email address.

## Request body

- object
  - `current_validators` object, required
    - `password` string
  - `new_validators` object, required
    - `password` string

## Response `200`

OK - The process of changing the user's password was started successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - Wrong validators have been supplied with this request
- `404`: Not Found - User was not found
