# Transfer a contact

`PUT /v1/contacts/{contactId}/transfer`

This operation transfers contacts of the accounts within the Customer Hierarchy when removing the account.

## Path parameters

- `contactId` string, required

- PUTTransferContact
  - `destinationAccountKey` string — The ID or number of the destination account.

## Response `200`
