# Add an addon to the user's plan

`POST /membership/{user_id}/plan/{plan_id}/addon`

## Request

Add an addon to the user's plan on a starting date.

## Path parameters

- `user_id` string, required
- `plan_id` integer, required

## Request body

- object
  - `addon_id` integer, required: The addon ID to add to the user's plan.
  - `start_date` string, date: The date in YYYY-MM-DD format or the current date will be used.
  - `expiration_date` string, date: Send the expiration date in YYYY-MM-DD format or the end of the current month will be used. The date should always be the last day of the month.

## Response `204`

Successfully added an addon to the plan.

## Other responses

- `400`: General error response.
- `401`: The access token has insufficient permissions to add the addon.
- `403`: The Partner does not have the permission to manage the requested addon.
- `404`: Partner, user, or addon not found.
