# Send Draft

`POST /api/documents/drafts/{document_id}/send`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zsign.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://zsign.io/api/documents/drafts/{document_id}/send`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Debit a credit, convert the draft in place into a sendable document,
and send it -- see DraftDocumentService.send_draft's docstring for the
full choreography. Returns DocumentSendResponse, the same shape
POST /api/v1/documents/send returns.

- `document_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- DashboardDraftSendRequest: Dashboard POST /api/documents/drafts/{id}/send requires recipients. v1 can omit them when they were stored at draft create. One shared model would publish the optional shape on both routes.
  - `recipients` RecipientData[], required
    - `email` string, email, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `role` string, required
    - `signing_order` integer, nullable
  - `metadata` object, nullable
  - `send_invite` boolean
  - `send_completion_email` boolean
  - `sequential` boolean: Whether recipients must sign in list order. Same flag as DocumentSendRequest.sequential. True (default) is one at a time; false is everyone at once.
  - `prefill` object, nullable: Per-send text values keyed by field "party:name". Sets or overrides each text field's default_value for this send only. Unknown or non-text keys are a 422 invalid_prefill_key.
