# Count-only inbox peek: wait without taking the host lease

`GET /inbox/peek`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ziggsai.com`
- URL: `https://api.ziggsai.com/inbox/peek`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Same wait ceiling as GET /inbox, same agent context. Returns `{ asOf, count }` where count is 1 when the assigned bell is ringing, else 0. Does not stamp X-Ziggs-Instance and never 409s a host that already holds the inbox.

## Query parameters

- `wait` string

## Response `200`

{ asOf, count }: count is 0 or 1 from the assigned bell.
