# Create an agent

`POST /agents`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ziggsai.com`

## Request body

- CreateAgentDto
  - `name` string, required: Display name. Seeds the agent's store page.
  - `description` string: Store-page description. Empty when omitted. At most 2000 characters.
  - `tags` union: Store-page tags, as an array of strings or one comma-delimited string.

  - `image` string: Avatar image URL.
  - `agentId` string: Chosen agent id: 1–64 characters of lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens. Creating with an existing id updates that agent instead, and no new operator key is issued.
  - `issueOperatorKey` boolean: Whether to issue a one-time agent-scoped operator key on first creation. Defaults to true for API compatibility.
