# Bulk Intake

`POST /v1/intake/bulk`

## Request

Create multiple intake claims in a single API call.

Each item creates a new claim with minimal info (like quick-capture but
without phone reconnection logic). Optionally enqueues background scoring.

Returns immediately with claim IDs. If ``webhook_url`` is provided,
a POST is sent when all background scoring completes.

## Request body

- BulkIntakeRequest: Bulk intake: create multiple intake claims in a single request.
  - `items` BulkIntakeItem[], required: List of intake items to create (max 500)
    - `claim_type` string, required: ssdi | wc | va | ime | msa | pi | ltd
    - `claimant_name` string, required: Full name of the claimant
    - `phone` string, nullable
    - `email` string, nullable
    - `dob` string, nullable: Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
    - `ssn_last_four` string, nullable: Last 4 digits of SSN
    - `note` string, nullable
    - `external_id` string, nullable: Caller's external reference ID for correlation
    - `alleged_onset_date` string, nullable: When the condition stopped work (YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY-MM, or 'March 2025')
    - `monthly_earnings` number, nullable: Current gross monthly earnings in USD (0 if not working)
    - `education_level` string, nullable: Highest grade/degree, e.g. '11', '12', 'GED', 'high school', 'bachelor'
    - `work_history` union: Past-15-year jobs: list of {job_title, employer, ...} or free text
