# Create target list

`POST /v1/targets/createList`

## Request

Transport: call this endpoint with HTTP POST and a JSON request body. Create a named list and optionally add leads to it.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Name for the list
  - `notes` string: Optional notes about this list
  - `lead_ids` string[]: Target IDs to add to the list
  - `generated_from` string: How this list was generated (e.g. skill slug)
  - `campaign_id` string: v2 campaign (cv2_…) this list is being built for. Stamped for traceability; ignored if the campaign is not in this workspace.

## Response `200`

Successful Zevari API response.

  - `ok` boolean, required: False when the underlying tool reports an error or a partial failure.
  - `method` string, required: Public API method name.
  - `data` unknown, required
  - `request_id` string, required: Request correlation ID. Also returned in X-Zevari-Request-Id.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments or method execution error.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, expired, revoked, or unauthorized API key.
- `404`: Unknown or non-public Zevari API method.
- `429`: API key rate limit exceeded.
- `500`: Unhandled server error.
