# Update outreach template

`PATCH /v1/outreachTemplates/update`

## Request

Transport: call this endpoint with HTTP PATCH and a JSON request body. Edit a user-owned outreach template; changes are versioned.

  - `slug` string, required: Slug of the template to update
  - `name` string
  - `description` string
  - `purpose` string
  - `prompt_components` object
  - `sequence_outline` object
  - `metadata` object
  - `status` 'active' | 'draft' | 'disabled'
  - `version_bump` 'patch' | 'minor' | 'major': Semver bump kind for content changes. Status-only edits do not bump version.
  - `change_reason` string: Optional note explaining the change (logged to history)

Successful Zevari API response.

  - `method` string, required: Public API method name.

- `401`: Missing, invalid, expired, revoked, or unauthorized API key.
- `404`: Unknown or non-public Zevari API method.
- `429`: API key rate limit exceeded.
- `500`: Unhandled server error.
