# Send connection request

`POST /v1/linkedin/sendConnectionRequest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.zevari.ai`
- URL: `https://api.zevari.ai/v1/linkedin/sendConnectionRequest`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Transport: call this endpoint with HTTP POST and a JSON request body. Send a LinkedIn connection request with optional note. REQUIRES confirmations.requestAction first. Recipient identity may be the canonical identifier or a saved lead/provider/public/profile URL alias; Zevari executes the approved canonical payload. Public REST flow: first call confirmations.requestAction with the exact payload you intend to execute. If Autopilot returns approved=true, retry this endpoint immediately with confirmation_id. Otherwise wait for approval_url to be approved in Zevari, then retry with confirmation_id. Connection request notes are tier-limited: free LinkedIn senders support up to 200 characters; paid/Premium/Sales Navigator senders support up to 300. Over-limit notes return HTTP 400 with ok=false and data.error='connection_note_too_long'. If LinkedIn reports already_invited_recently, treat the recipient as pending invite: do not auto-withdraw, remove/re-add, or send another invite; wait for acceptance before follow-up DMs.

## Request body

- object
  - `identifier` string: LinkedIn provider ID (ACoAAA...), public identifier, or profile URL. Approval staging canonicalizes this to a provider ID before send.
  - `recipientId` string: LinkedIn recipient provider ID alias.
  - `linkedin_provider_id` string: LinkedIn provider ID alias from saved lead/profile results.
  - `provider_id` string: LinkedIn provider ID alias from saved lead/profile results.
  - `providerId` string: LinkedIn provider ID alias.
  - `lead_id` string: Saved lead ID in the active workspace and active LinkedIn account.
  - `leadId` string: Saved lead ID alias in the active workspace and active LinkedIn account.
  - `linkedin_public_identifier` string: LinkedIn public identifier/vanity slug alias.
  - `public_identifier` string: LinkedIn public identifier/vanity slug alias.
  - `publicIdentifier` string: LinkedIn public identifier/vanity slug alias.
  - `linkedin_profile_url` string: LinkedIn profile URL alias.
  - `linkedin_url` string: LinkedIn profile URL alias.
  - `linkedinUrl` string: LinkedIn profile URL alias.
  - `profile_url` string: LinkedIn profile URL alias.
  - `profileUrl` string: LinkedIn profile URL alias.
  - `url` string: LinkedIn profile URL alias.
  - `note` string: Connection request note. Free LinkedIn senders support up to 200 characters; paid/Premium/Sales Navigator senders support up to 300. Over-limit notes return data.error='connection_note_too_long'.
  - `confirmation_id` string: REQUIRED. ID from confirmations.requestAction. You MUST call confirmations.requestAction FIRST with the exact payload you intend to send, return the data.approval_url to the user, and wait for them to approve. Only then call this tool with the confirmation_id. Without it, this tool returns an error.
  - `bulk_item_id` string: Set when confirmation_id refers to a bulk_actions parent (from confirmations.requestAction). Identifies the per-item child to consume — e.g. 'itm_03'. Omit for single-action confirmations.

## Response `200`
