# Virtually stage a room

`POST /api/staging`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.zestio.de`
- URL: `https://www.zestio.de/api/staging`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - API key in cookie `sb-access-token`

Add furniture and decor to empty rooms using AI. Supports multiple room types and furniture styles. The 'flux-depth' model returns a job ID for async processing.

## Request body

  - `image` string, uri, required: Public URL of the empty room image
  - `roomType` 'living' | 'bedroom' | 'kitchen' | 'bathroom' | 'dining' | 'office' | 'basement' | 'patio'
  - `furnitureStyle` 'modern' | 'scandinavian' | 'industrial' | 'bohemian' | 'traditional' | 'midcentury' | 'farmhouse' | 'luxury' | 'minimalist'
  - `model` 'interior-design' | 'precision': Staging pipeline. Default: interior-design.

Staging successful

- StagingResponse
  - `success` boolean
  - `output` string, uri: URL to the staged image (when complete). URL is signed and valid for 1 hour — download or store the image promptly; request the endpoint again if you need a fresh link. (Authenticated browser sessions receive an app-internal URL instead.)
  - `model` 'interior-design' | 'precision': Staging pipeline. Default: interior-design.
  - `creditsUsed` integer
  - `creditsRemaining` integer: Remaining credit balance
  - `status` 'processing' | 'completed': Job status (for async models like flux-depth)
  - `stage` 'depth_map' | 'staging': Current processing stage (for flux-depth)
  - `jobId` string: Job ID for polling (for async models)
  - `depthPredictionId` string: Replicate prediction ID (for flux-depth)
  - `message` string: Status message

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing credentials
- `402`: Payment required - insufficient credits
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
