# Update current user

`POST /api/v2/user`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://central.zerotier.com`
- URL: `https://central.zerotier.com/api/v2/user`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Updates profile information for the authenticated user.

## Request body

- UpdateUserRequest
  - `firstName` string
  - `lastName` string

## Response `200`

Updated user profile

- User
  - `id` string: Unique identifier for the user
  - `email` string, email: Email address of the user (unique within ZeroTier)
  - `firstName` string
  - `lastName` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid data provided
- `401`: Missing or invalid authentication token
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `413`: Request body exceeds the 1 MB size limit
- `500`: Internal server error
