# Check permissions

`POST /api/v2/user/check-permissions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://central.zerotier.com`
- URL: `https://central.zerotier.com/api/v2/user/check-permissions`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Batch-checks whether the authenticated user has specific permissions on one or more resources.

## Request body

- CheckPermissionRequest[]
  - `resourceId` string, required: The ID of the resource to check permissions for
  - `resourceType` 'org' | 'network_group' | 'network', required: The type of resource to check permissions for
  - `permission` string, required: The permission to check

## Response `200`

Permission check results, one entry per request item

- CheckPermissionResponse[]
  - `resourceId` string, required: The ID of the resource that was checked
  - `resourceType` 'org' | 'network_group' | 'network', required: The type of resource that was checked
  - `permission` string, required: The permission that was checked
  - `allowed` boolean, required: Whether the permission is allowed

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid data provided
- `401`: Missing or invalid authentication token
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `413`: Request body exceeds the 1 MB size limit
- `500`: Internal server error
