# Remove Organization Member

`POST /api/v2/organizations/removeMember`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zeropath.com`
- URL: `https://zeropath.com/api/v2/organizations/removeMember`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Remove a member from the organization. Requires MEMBER_REMOVE permission. Works for both active members and pending/expired invitees; removing a pending/expired invitee also revokes their outstanding invitation. Active admins cannot be removed (demote them to member first).

## Request body

- OrganizationsRemoveMemberRequest: Input for removing a member from the organization
  - `organizationId` string: Organization ID. If omitted, the organization is resolved from the authenticated user.
  - `userId` string, required: ID of the user to remove from the organization
