# Search Wiz cloud assets

`POST /api/v2/integrations/searchWizAssets`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Search for cloud resources in Wiz by name fragment. The query is always scoped server-side to the organization's enrolled `wizProjectIds`; the caller cannot widen the scope. Use this tool to map a ZeroPath repository or service name to live cloud assets in Wiz. Returns up to `limit` matches (default 20, max 50). When the organization has no Wiz projects enrolled the response is `{assets: [], reason: 'no_wiz_projects_enrolled'}` and no Wiz call is made.

## Request body

- WizSearchAssetsRequest
  - `organizationId` string: Organization whose Wiz credentials are used to search assets. The official ZeroPath MCP server injects this from `ZEROPATH_ORG_ID` when configured.
  - `search` string, required: Substring match against Wiz cloud-resource names. Pass a meaningful fragment of the asset, repository, or service name (e.g. 'payments-api', 'redis-prod'). Empty or single-character queries are rejected to avoid unbounded enumerations.
  - `type` string[]: Optional Wiz resource type filter (e.g. ['CONTAINER'], ['VIRTUAL_MACHINE']). When omitted, all resource types are searched. Up to 10 values.
  - `limit` integer: Maximum number of matching cloud resources to return. Defaults to 20.

Matching Wiz cloud resources.

    - `id` string, required: Wiz cloud-resource identifier.
    - `name` string, required
    - `type` string, required: Wiz resource type (e.g. CONTAINER, VIRTUAL_MACHINE).
  - `reason` 'ok' | 'no_wiz_projects_enrolled', required: `ok` when the search ran against Wiz. `no_wiz_projects_enrolled` when the organization has no Wiz projects configured; no Wiz call was made.
