# Enable container image monitoring

`POST /api/v2/containerImages/monitor`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zeropath.com`
- URL: `https://zeropath.com/api/v2/containerImages/monitor`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Enable recurring monitoring on a container image by setting a cron schedule. The monitoring scheduler re-scans the image on that schedule. Validates the crontab before persisting it.

## Request body

- ContainerImageMonitorRequest: Input for enabling recurring monitoring on a container image.
  - `organizationId` string: Organization ID (optional).
  - `containerImageId` string, required: ID of the container image.
  - `crontab` string, required: Cron expression for recurring re-scans, e.g. "0 0 * * 1" for every Monday.

## Response `200`

Monitoring enabled

- ContainerImageMonitorResponse
  - `containerImageId` string, required
