# Search app info

`POST /api/v2/appInfo/search`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Semantic search across all applications in an organization to find repositories and services that match a natural-language query. Useful when you know what kind of application you're looking for (e.g. "payment processing API", "user authentication") but don't know which repository it lives in. Returns ranked results with similarity scores. Use the `repositoryId` from results to fetch full details with `appInfo.get` or to scope other tools like `issues.list` or `code.search`.

## Request body

- AppInfoSearchRequest
  - `organizationId` string: Organization to search within. Limits results to repositories the caller can access in this org.
  - `query` string, required: Natural-language search query matched against application descriptions and metadata using semantic similarity (e.g. "payment processing", "user authentication service").
  - `limit` integer: Maximum number of results to return. Defaults to 10.

Search results

- AppInfoSearchResult[]
  - `repositoryId` string, required: ID of the repository containing this application.
  - `repositoryName` string, required: Display name of the repository containing this application.
  - `directoryPath` string, required: Root directory of the application relative to the repository root.
  - `name` string, required: Human-readable name of the application.
  - `description` string, required: Brief description of what this application does.
  - `score` number, required: Semantic similarity score between 0 and 1. Higher means a closer match to the query.
