# Update global instructions

`POST /api/v2/agent/updateGlobalInstructions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zeropath.com`
- URL: `https://zeropath.com/api/v2/agent/updateGlobalInstructions`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Update the organization's global instructions. These instructions are prepended to every agent task prompt. Pass null to clear them. Use this to set org-wide policies like: require Slack confirmation before destructive actions, escalation rules for critical findings, or memory usage guidelines.

## Request body

- AgentUpdateGlobalInstructionsRequest
  - `organizationId` string: Organization ID (injected by MCP server)
  - `globalInstructions` string, nullable, required: New global instructions to set. Pass null to clear. These instructions are prepended to every agent task prompt.
