# Start

`POST /api/v1/scans/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zeropath.com`
- URL: `https://zeropath.com/api/v1/scans/start`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Initiates a new security scan for one or more repositories

## Request body

- object
  - `organizationId` string, required: Organization ID the repositories belong to
  - `repositoryIds` string[], required: IDs of repositories to scan

## Response `200`

Successfully started scans

- string[]: List of created scan IDs
