# Acknowledge (or re-open) an SCA alert

`POST /api/v1/sca/alerts/acknowledge`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zeropath.com`
- URL: `https://zeropath.com/api/v1/sca/alerts/acknowledge`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Id` and API key in header `X-ZeroPath-API-Token-Secret`

Set or clear the user-triage acknowledge state on an SCA alert. Acknowledging moves the alert out of the `new` list; passing acknowledged=false re-opens it. Distinct from the notifier state.

## Request body

- AcknowledgeScaAlertInput
  - `organizationId` string, required
  - `alertId` string, required: The SCAVulnerabilityAlert id to triage
  - `acknowledged` boolean: true (default) acknowledges the alert (moves it out of the `new` list); false re-opens it back into `new`.

## Response `200`

Successful response

- AcknowledgeScaAlertResponse
  - `id` string, required
  - `acknowledgedAt` string, date-time, nullable, required
  - `acknowledged` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
