# Get quote

`GET /liquidity/rfq`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cert.zerohash.com`

- Auth: API key in header `X-SCX-API-KEY` and API key in header `X-SCX-PASSPHRASE`

Retrieves a quote for the purchase or sale of a given asset. Exactly one of `quantity` or `total` must be provided.

## Response `200`

Successfully retrieved quote. Returns the quote envelope (`{ message: {...} }`) with pricing and an ephemeral `quote_id`.

    - `request_id` string: The identifier of the RFQ
    - `participant_code` string: The identifier of the participant making the quote request
    - `quoted_currency` 'USD' | 'EUR' | 'USDC.ETH': The quoted currency in the trading pair. E.g. `USD` in the pair `BTC/USD`.
    - `side` 'buy' | 'sell': The participant side of the quote - `buy` or `sell`.
    - `quantity` string: The amount of the underlying currency
    - `price` string: The cost per unit of underlying currency
    - `quote_id` string: The identifier for the quote Note: this is required to execute the quote
    - `expire_ts` number: Timestamp when the quote will expire
    - `account_group` string: The group that the account is a part of
    - `account_label` string: The account label associated with the account
    - `obo_participant` OBOParticipantEntity
      - `participant_code` string: The identifier of the participant making the request
      - `account_group` string: The identifier of the the account group
      - `account_label` string: The account label associated with the account
    - `total_notional` string: Total notional is the full cost inclusive of fees or the total proceeds after fees
    - `settlement_type` 'STANDARD' | 'null', nullable: Quote settlement type. Returns `null` for quotes without an explicit settlement override.
    - `issuer_fee_payor_type` 'CUSTOMER' | 'PLATFORM' | 'null', nullable: Indicates which party bears the issuer fee on this quote. Returns `null` when no issuer fee is applied.
    - `issuer_fee_rate` string, nullable: Issuer fee in basis points applied to the quote. Returns `null` when no issuer fee is applied.
    - `issuer_fee_amount` string, nullable: Notional of the issuer fee applied to the quote. Returns `null` when no issuer fee is applied.

    - `spread_bps` string: The spread in basis points applied to the quote
    - `payment_processor` object
      - `name` string: The name of the payment processor
      - `id` string: The unique identifier of the payment according to the PSP

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `503`: Service Unavailable
