# Delete an alphanumeric sender ID

`DELETE /v1/sms/sender-ids/{id}`

Deactivates the sender ID so it can no longer send. Re-creating the
same sender ID via `POST /v1/sms/sender-ids` re-activates it.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Sender ID deactivated.

- `400` — Invalid request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Sender ID not found.
